Which Smoke Alarm Do I Need?
If your home is on the first floor, a flat or a bungalow – you need to fit at least one smoke alarm. If your home has more than one level, you’ll need one on each floor. According to the new Scottish law, it is not required that all the smoke and fire alarms in your property are interlinked.
In homes with more than have more than one floor, you can fit the alarms in the hallway or on every stair landing. For extra safety, fit smoke alarms in your bedrooms too – this can help protect you while you sleep. Contact our smoke alarm installers by clicking here for more information.
